The JPFO Freedom Flyer
This celebrates the 20 years of JPFO up until 2009 plus. Visit the Flyer web page by going here, and click on the adjacent thumbnail to see a larger image of the PDF cover. All eight pages (PDF) of the hard copy publication are to be found in the Flyer page along with a chronological achievements review. (Now also - a complete PDF file of the entire flyer content.)The JPFO site began in 1999 but prior to that, the organization had achieved much with various publications including "Gun Control" Gateway to Tyranny and the beginnings of the "Granpa’ Jack booklet series."– go to this page and learn more.

The JPFO Campaigns Page
Way back, Aaron Zelman instigated campaigns to educate and inform, which included as with the BATFE, an attempt to expose its out-of-control core of abuses and flagrant disregard for constitutional integrity. The "Dial 911 and Die" book is just one example of exposing the many misconceptions surrounding ‘Police Protection’. In more recent times, award winning videos have added to the mission of education.Visit the The Campaigns Page to see the thrust of JPFO’s efforts over the years to educate and create change.

JPFO Freedom Music.
We have a number of Freedom oriented sound files - mostly songs, but also including a reading of the Bill of Rights. Some of the earliest items were made by Aaron's son Jeremy and over time since then we have received a few more from various sources.These all have copyright to some degree by default but they are freely available for download and distribution, for non-commercial use. To download any of these files go to the main page, but we do also offer these files set up in a freedom music player, such that you can listen here on JPFO. We hope you can enjoy some of the inspirational, as well as fun music tracks.

Talkin’ to America, the audio files.
August 2005 saw the beginning of this exclusive JPFO feature. It has comprized interviews with people within, for the most part, the Second Amendment community and supporters of The Bill of Rights, and more often than not interviews were carried out by Aaron Zelman himself. The end result was an MP3 soundfile for download or utilizing as a Podcast with iTunes or similar.Since Aaron’s passing in December 2010, there has been a temporary hiatus but it is planned to bring this back to life again. There are a great many items worth listening to and so, take a tour through the Talkin’ to America pages and familiarize with all the material on offer.

The Open Letters Index
JPFO has over time written many open letters, and while it is often difficult to gauge their impact - in the end the sending of a (usually strong) message across a wide audience is the main objective. Just perhaps sometimes these are seen by people who either pause for thought, or even gain an understanding of an issue. Some letters came from other authors but are shown due to their relevance and importance.Go to the Open Letters Page page where you'll find a list of many letters both written by JPFO and others and accumulated over time. Find time to read as many as you can (most may be on the old site format).

JPFO's material on the Bill of Rights is broad and considerable. In order to try and facilitate visitors being able to find most relevant material it seems logical to try and provide a starting point, with links to the various and numerous pages JPFO has, thus an index pageGo to the Bill of Rights Index page where you'll find a substantial list of articles relevant to the American Bill of Rights. In our newer look site layout we have tried to put significant emphasis on navigation. The content is large after many years and so some things can be hard to find, but it is hoped that the top menu bar and left column flyout menu will cover most needs adequately. Over time JPFO has taken a graphics approach to reinforcing certain mission intensive issues, by generating handbills that people can print out and pass around.These usually amplify a message towards those in power who wish to see law abiding people disarmed. JPFO’s Tribute to its Founder
On December 21st 2010, JPFO’s Founder Aaron Zelman passed away. It was both a tragically sad loss, as well as a blow to suddenly feel almost leaderless. Aaron’s mission however is still alive and well as we have picked up the pieces and strive to continue and further the cause with vigor and determination towards even greater achievements.Even if you are new to JPFO, Read our tribute, as you will learn much about the origins and purpose of JPFO, and the man who gave it life. A suitable companion to this tribute is "The JPFO Freedom Flyer", which was a celebration of JPFO’s 20th anniversary.

The Rabbi’s Pages Index.
Rabbi Dovid Bendory is the JPFO’s Rabbinic Director, and since the passing of Aaron Zelman in 2010, has magnificently filled the gap regarding the Jewish aspect. He is a man of great energy and integrity - also known as "The Gun Rabbi" - and is passionate about the right of self defense. The Gang Movie
This deep digging documentary movie was released in 2007 and runs 85 minutes. It contains material that many would find hard to believe, as it exposes the abuses and inconsistencies of the out-of-control agency BATFE.Purchase a copy from the JPFO store, learn the facts, and then pass that information on to those who might have any doubts. Why Join JPFO?
JPFO tries to be an educator by supplying "intellectual ammunition" - the idea being that we provide information for folks to use the best they can, to further the fight against "Gun Control". We are tax exempt and cannot lobby or endorse but, for sure we can give you the fodder you need such that you can do your bit the best way you can. The fight to preserve our 2A is vital.
Researching to find data, writing articles, as well maintaining the site - all takes time and expense and so, help towards keeping this active and vital is essential. We would encourage anyone who finds our efforts worthwhile to become a member, or even donate - it all helps us survive and continue the hard fought battle.
Please dig deep, use the search, explore through our menus - find even old pages and pass them on. Dissemination of material is invaluable.
Attorney General Holder Reveals Aggressive Gun Control

WASHINGTON, Nov. 19 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Before the Senate Judiciary Committee November 18th, 2009, Attorney General Eric Holder revealed a stunningly broad and aggressive anti-gun agenda.
"The President of the United States asked that politicians not use the Ft. Hood attack to engage in "political theater." It appears those committed to attacking gun owners and the Second Amendment simply can’t help themselves and are engaged in blaming guns and gun owners on the heels of this terrorist attack. Sadly it looks like ’politics as usual,’" said LEAA’s spokesperson, Ted Deeds.
After explaining and defending his decision to give enemy combatants constitutional protections and the right to public trial in civilian courts, Attorney General Holder revealed his support for a national gun owner registration scheme and authorizing the government to ban firearm possession for any person by merely adding that person’s name to the terror watch list.
Drawing reasonable conclusions from what Holder publicly said, we now know:
• Holder wants a national, permanent gun registration system administered by law enforcement. A registration of honest citizens that have cleared the federal background check for gun purchases with those records permanently retained by and shared among law enforcement.
• Holder wants new federal authority to prohibit any person on the federal watch list (reported to be 400,000 names) from buying guns and supports confiscating guns from those on the list who possess them.
Transcribing General Holder: "The position of the Administration is that there should be a basis for law enforcement to share information about gun purchases." " … [It’s not] inconsistent to allow law enforcement agencies to share that kind of information, for that information to be retained and then to be shared by law enforcement." "It seems incongruous to me that we would bar certain people from flying on airplanes because they are on the terrorist watch list and yet we would still allow them to posses weapons." {Emphasis added}
LEAA’s Executive Director Jim Fotis said, "Those behind the badge don’t believe more restrictions on honest gun owners is a reasonable, practical or constitutional response to acts of terrorism. As a retired officer, I know that America’s men and women in blue want to fight terrorism, to stop terrorists; not waste time keeping records on innocent gun owners!"
